Our city does not have a budget issue. It has a management issue.

We need to decrease property taxes first, then target payroll taxes.

Elsmere is one of the lowest income cities in Kenton County. We do not need to make life more difficult for our residents.

Listen to the people

The 9,000 residents of Elsmere have problems every day that need to be heard. A meeting once a month in a conference room is not enough to hear them.

We need to increase our city’s engagement on social media. People want to discuss with one another on what’s happening. The internet is public forum, and council needs listen.

I will not allow a company to take my tax dollars to surveil me and call me a “terrorist” for wanting to know where their product is.

Improve Safety

  • Invest in our police department and community engagement

  • Install speed bumps in high-risk neighborhoods

  • Identify mitigations for hazards to traffic and pedestrians

  • Tougher action on violations. Less warnings, more fines

  • Educate families on E-bikes and scooters

Protect Supply

We are one crisis away from our supply chain failing. We must allow residents to be resilient to shortages and disasters:

  • Lift ordinances for gardens, chickens, generators, etc

  • Improve the city’s emergency reserve strategy. Water, power, communications, salt, fuel, and IT need redundancies.

  • Work with Fire, Police, and Public Works to provide education and training for disaster preparedness.
